New Year´s Eve in Tyrol
Celebrate the arrival of the New Year in Innsbruck
New Year’s Eve in Tyrol can only mean one thing: beginning the new year in the mountains of Innsbruck. Spirited live music, culinary treats and a colourful show programme attract locals and visitors alike to Innsbruck’s city centre to celebrate the New Year.
Of course, fireworks and the compulsory Blue Danube Waltz are a must at any New Year’s celebration here. Pyrotechnics light up the night sky on the Seengrube and in Innsbruck’s city centre while people dance into the night.
New Year for children on December 30th
Children can celebrate just like the adults on December 30th at the Innsbruck’s ‘Zwergerlsilvester’ festival. Attractions for children and play stations will be set up all across Innsbruck’s old town. The finale fireworks show will take place in the market square at 5.00 pm.
For those who prefer more action-packed celebrations, Tyrol’s largest indoor New Year’s Eve party invites you to dance into the New Year. At ‘Silvester Beats’ at the Dogana just 4 km from the Bierwirt, famous DJs play their hot beats until the early hours of the morning, combined with a brilliant laser show.
